“WE'RE NOT JUST BUILDING A CHURCH. WE'RE BUILDING A PLACE PEOPLE CAN CALL HOME.”

OUR
STORY
Pastors
JOHN &
VOICHI DURA
Momentum Church was founded by John and Voichi Dura, who, together with a passionate group of young people, laid the foundation of a new church in Alba Iulia. We are a Christian church and believe that every person deserves the opportunity to know and follow Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Savior of all.
From the very beginning, our desire was more than just building a church. We wanted a place where people feel welcomed, loved, and close to God, a place they can call home and experience real transformation.
We wholeheartedly believe that God has called us to be an authentic, relevant, and life-giving community for Alba Iulia and that is what we seek to build day by day, together.

OUR VALUES
Love God
Our first value comes from the greatest commandment: to love the Lord our God. He loved us first, and we respond with love, with all our heart. Everything we do at Momentum flows from our relationship with God.
Love People
We love people because that is what God does. We believe every person has worth and deserves to be welcomed, seen, and loved. At Momentum, we want to build a community where people experience God’s love through the way we treat one another.
Seek the Kingdom
We hold to the biblical principle: “Seek first the Kingdom of God.” We choose to put God and His Kingdom before everything else, trusting that He will provide what we need and add all these things to us as well.
See Transformation
We want everyone who comes to Momentum to experience real transformation in their lives. We believe that God’s love and genuine love between people have the power to change us for the better and draw us ever closer to who God created us to be.
Make Jesus Famous
We don’t want the attention to be on us or on those up front. What matters most is Jesus Christ, the Lord. We want everything we do at Momentum to point to Him, and our desire is for Jesus to be known, followed, and placed at the center of our lives.
Our Identity
We are building a living, authentic, and relevant community.
A place where people meet God, grow in real community, and live out the purpose He has for them.
